Zuchwill
As part of the construction of the new KEBAG Enova waste-to-energy plant in Zuchwil, Switzerland, five tower cranes from the manufacturers Wilbert and Wolffkran were deployed. The lifting equipment included both trolley jib cranes and luffing jib cranes, notably the WT 1905, considered to be one of – if not the – largest luffing jib cranes in Switzerland. To ensure the highest level of safety on this dense and technically demanding site, all cranes were equipped with our DCS 61-S anti-collision system, providing real-time monitoring and collision prevention. The site layout, variable lifting heights and proximity of equipment required precise zone management.
Scheduled to be commissioned in 2025, the KEBAG Enova facility will play a key role in the region’s energy recovery strategy, replacing the existing plant with a more efficient and sustainable infrastructure.
Thanks to the DCS 61-S technology, lifting operations were carried out with a high level of safety, precision, and fluidity, contributing directly to the success of this strategic industrial project.
