At the heart of Microsoft’s historic headquarters in Redmond, we supported the transformation of the campus by providing our expertise in crane safety through the deployment of AMCS anticollision systems across all tower cranes on site. This large-scale modernization project, launched in 2017 and scheduled for completion in mid-2025, includes the demolition of 12 existing buildings and the construction of 17 new office buildings, totaling approximately 3 million square feet of workspace. To meet the project’s technical requirements, our systems were installed on:
9 Liebherr cranes, including 7 rail-mounted units, vvvvvv
Comansa cranes
In addition to standard anti-collision features, we integrated translation tracking to dynamically manage the movement of rail-mounted cranes in real time. This ensured optimal safety, coordination, and operational efficiency throughout the project.
