We had the opportunity to take part in the West White Rose Project, an offshore oil development located in the Jeanne d’Arc Basin, approximately 350 km east of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Construction began in 2017, with production expected to start in 2026. The project aims to extend the life of the White Rose oil field by 14 years, with a projected output of up to 80,000 barrels per day. To support this strategic construction site, AMCS anticollision systems were installed on four tower cranes operating simultaneously on site:
TC 1 : TEREX CTT 472
TEREX CTT 472
TEREX CTT 472
TC 4 : KROLL K4000
The KROLL K4000, one of the largest tower cranes in the world, was specifically deployed to handle the project’s heaviest lifting requirements. Its presence highlights the technical scale of the site and the critical need for precise coordination between equipment.
Our solutions ensured a high level of safety, fluidity, and synchronization throughout the lifting operations in this highly demanding offshore environment.
